Griffon has extensive experience in the design of advances composite structure for a wide range of applications. By using Finite Element Modeling (FEM) in conjunction with traditional structural analysis theory, Griffon is able to provide lightweight, safe, and reliable structural components. Our modeling techniques have been extensively validated through test results of small and large scale structures.
Griffon has teamed up with many large and small businesses all over the country to produce complex and critical composite parts. Many of those parts have been used in structural applications where high strength and light weight have been critical requirements in the designs. Griffon has provided parts for projects including: fairings to cover experimental sensors on executive class jets, wing elements for future space aircraft, full-scale modular skin sections for a modern fighter jet fuselage, and composite cryogenic pressure tanks for use in space-bound rockets.
